A breast lift raises and firms the breasts through the removal of excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue with an incision made around the areola and going straight down, lifting the areola to a more youthful position. Make Me Heal hopes that Brigitte is exaggerating her need for new teeth and is only getting veneers placed on her existing teeth, rather than actually getting new teeth through means of implants, which can be a lengthy process.

Sometimes people have to have corrective surgery to make them healthier. Dr. Glatt adds, “She may have also had a chin implant to better define this area. Her lower lip appears much more full and it is likely she had injections of Juvederm into her lower lip.”

“Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons,” she told the magazine for its May 23 issue, which will be on newsstands Friday.

Bristol Palin also told the magazine she wouldn’t get elective surgery unless she “got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured.”

“I've realized this is just not me, but it is what it is and you have to live with it,” Ekland reveals in a new interview. “Whatever I did 15 or 20 years ago, I'd never have done now. I turned 50, and you get insecure.”

The 71-year-old shares that her current career path has made her appreciate the value of growing old gracefully. “The funny thing is for the last few years my career has been in the theatre, and natural expression is seen as a good thing.

“I think people look so much better if they don't have surgery,” she adds.

Dr. Youn recommended that Ekland should stop plumping her cheeks and try Botox to smooth the crow's feet. Youn added that Ekland defied her age, but didn't seem natural. "She surely doesn't look her age, but she doesn't look natural, either! If I could give her two pieces of advice, it'd be to avoid any further plumping of her cheeks and to maybe try a touch of Botox into her crows feet," Dr. Youn advised.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer was quoted as saying: "Britt Ekland looks fabulous. She has certainly maintained her beautiful looks with multiple facial cosmetic surgeries such as an upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), eyebrow lift, rhinoplasty (nose job), lip augmentation and facelift."

Dr. Paul A. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California explained: "Britt Ekland appears to have had lip augmentation, a possible rhinoplasty, facial fillers, Botox, possibly a facelift, and a browlift. Overall, her look is a bit overdone and she should not have any further procedures performed at this time."

Overall, she looks great and any work she has performed in the future is strictly up to her. ”

Buzz Aldrin plastic surgery has admitted to having a facelift in a recent issue of Time magazine. When asked why he decided to get a facelift at the age of 77, he answered:

It’s kind of funny, but I’ve been exposed to a lot of G-forces as a fighter pilot and in space. That caused a sagging jowl that needed some attention.

In the past, Lois may also have had a nose job, as her nose is very symmetrical and pert-looking.

To have such luscious lips, Lois is likely getting lip augmentation using fillers like Restylane and Juvederm, which she may also be using elsewhere in her face to get that full, preternaturally unwrinkled look.

“Yes she does look ‘plastic’,” he commented. ”Based on the photo, it appears that she may have had a forehead lift, she now has a massive forehead that makes her face look masculine. Her eye brows are too high, she has no hair in front of her ears or sideburns at the temples and she has a very pulled appearance that is too tight around the jaw.”

“It appears that everything has been laterally pulled up and back,” Dr. Mayer suggests a technique that he performs at The Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery that will, ”lower hair line and also move some hair in front of her ears.”

“She may have had a rhinoplasty although he is unsure. He would also recommend a brow-lift.”

“Based on her chronological age, it is possible she may have had fillers,” although he notes that, “fillers do not give you this type of artificial look.”

Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California, appearance on the show, alongside his wife, Adrienne Maloof, and their well-to-do friends: Taylor Armstrong, Lisa VanderPump, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards and Camille Grammer.

On the first episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the audience is introduced to 38-year old Taylor Armstrong, who expresses concerns about her husband leaving her for a younger woman. Shortly after, the cameras show Taylor as she is treated with Radiesse injections in Dr. Nassif’s office.

“Immediately following the injections of anesthetic, Radiesse was injected into little balls, and carefully massaged into Taylor’s temple. Radiesse is an excellent filler for face volumizing, and her result was fantastic!”

Most famous for her Emmy Award winning work on The Practice, Camryn Manheim has most recently been getting her paychecks as one of the stars of The Ghost Whisperer and with guest shots on shows like Harry’s Law. She’s been reportedly spending these checks on plastic surgery. To be honest, it’s pretty hard to tell whether she’s had anything done at all, or whether she’s just getting older. Rumor has it that she’s had a conservative rhinoplasty, a possible facelift, Botox injections, and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Due to the little amount of difference in her appearance, it’s hard to tell whether the rumors are true, but a facelift can pretty much be ruled out because of how wrinkled her skin still looks.

A blepharoplasty is the surgery she most likely had, as her eyes look wider now than they used to, especially in her upper eyelid. She also sometimes shows traces of the infamous “Botox vein” in her forehead. Manheim is over fifty now, so any work she has had, or will have, will be less about pure cosmetics, and more about staving off age, It’s not like a “hotter” appearance is going to help a career, she just has to stay in that sweet spot where she can play distinguished women, and not drift into “old lady” territory.

However, the reported blepharoplasty is minimal if anything, the rumored rhinoplasty does not seem convincing and the facelift – well, I am not convinced.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “I am not convinced that Camryn has undergone plastic surgery. I would recommend for her some Botox to smooth out her skin and an upper eyelid lift (Blepharoplasty) to give her a very rejuvenated look.”

56-year old former HP executive Carly Fiorina announced that she was battling breast cancer shortly before deciding to run against the California incumbent Senator Barbara Boxer. Carly Fiornia was fired after HP stock fell and she laid off thousands of workers. Although new to the political scene after spending her career at major companies, Carly has been endorsed by Republican politicians, including Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona (See Make Me Heal’s story on John McCain’s plastic surgery), former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

To treat her breast cancer, Carly decided to undergo a double mastectomy, and later had breast reconstructive surgery. After the double mastectomy, Carly was also treated with chemotherapy, which caused her to lose her hair. Last month, Carly was hospitalized due to complications from an infection resulting from the reconstructive surgery.

On his blog, OcBody plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says, “According to the article, Ms Fiorina had breast cancer with radiation and chemotherapy involved in her treatment along with her breast reconstruction. This does not bode well for implant-based reconstruction that she probably had.”

Radiation treatment and implant placement together have a high incidence of complications including infection and implant exposure. Being that in 2009, Ms Fiorina was likely in the midst of planning her Senate run. She might have opted for a less debilitating implant-based reconstruction for practical reasons. Such a choice might have also been based on the availability of soft tissue with which two breasts could be made. Carly is thin of build. Tissue-based breast reconstruction also has its share of problems, but late in the game infection is not usually one of them.

Carly Fiorina – Infection 3 Months After Breast Reconstruction

California Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina has been released from the hospital after being treated for an infection related to reconstruction surgery. She had previously been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent bilateral mastectomies with reconstruction, with the last stage being performed back in July. What type of infection could this be, many months after her last surgery?
Hopefully the infection does not involve a breast implant, which is often used in reconstruction. If an implant is infected, it needs to be removed, typically for six months to allow the infection to resolve. For those six months the patient would have only one augmented (or reconstructed) breast. This is my greatest fear when operating on smokers, who have a five times higher risk of healing complications over nonsmokers.

Carmen Campuzano is a Mexican model that obviously has had some tragically bad plastic surgery. Sadly, Carmen Campuzano’s severely botched nose job is just one of many disasters to befall the once successful supermodel, who has graced the cover of Vogue a record three times. Carmen has struggled with her addiction to drugs and alcohol, which has turned her life into a disaster. As a result of her addictions, she has been run over by a taxi, severed a finger, broken her arm so badly that it had to be reconstructed, she’s been committed to a mental institution, attempted suicide, overdosed on cocaine and lost custody of her children. One has to wonder if her lack of good judgement is also to blame for the poor result she’s gotten from plastic surgery. Do you think a raging cokehead is going to stop doing cocaine in order to let a nose job heal? Probably not and probably not a good idea…

So just how did Carmen Campuzano’s nose end up in its currently deformed state? There are several stories out there swirling around, but a severe cocaine addiction, an overly aggressive plastic surgeon and a battle with a flesh eating bacteria (that Carmen picked up from stepping in pig poop!) could all be contributing factors in the disfigurement of her nose.

Carmen Campuzano is or was a model in Mexico and currently works as an event organizer and hostess. Carmen demonstrates the number one lesson that should be taught about cosmetic surgery and that many people ignore – never go too far, too fast. If you make some subtle changes, a little botox, a little lift here or there, you just might get away with it and improve on what you’ve got.

As you can see above Carmen did have a big nose in 1999 but her surgery was a big mistake. She chopped off about half her nose.

The doc succeeded in making a button on the tip of the nose, that part went ok. What went wrong was the nasal phalanges on the sides of her nose. Too much flesh was removed, and without enough support, the nostrils collapsed. Subsequently, doctors performed various surgeries to try and give it some structure and repair the nose but so far no luck. Not only that, but Carmen has had trouble with infections, fluid and blood flow in her sinuses which can potentially be very dangerous and has required further surgeries. And you know what happened to Michael Jackson’s nose, he eventually had to use a prosthetic, or else plastic fillers instead of actual flesh.

Casey was 30 years old and in that time, blazed the hotspots of NYC, Los Angeles, plus a few trips to the plastic surgeon. As a card carrying member of the Paris Hilton set, she was not immune to the allure of self improvement via knife. She got breast implants and lip injections. It is interesting to see how large her lips grew over the years.

Casey’s fiance, Tila Tequila, is also no stranger to plastic surgery and bought much larger breast implants a few years ago.

Catherine Bosley, a former news anchor for CBS in Ohio was unknowingly photographed when competing in a wet T-shirt contest while on a 2003 Key West vacation. The then 37-year-old had allegedly stripped down to being totally nude. Upon the shocking images hitting the web, she had been removed from her anchor position.

Bosley and her husband had previously and successfully negotiated with the photographer for the rights to the racy pictures in 2004. However, the scandalous photos were still published by Larry Flynn and his Hustler magazine without any consent, as part of their 2006 "Hot News Babes" spread, according to Yahoo!

Today is the day though folks! Let’s get excited about Catherine Bosley’s chest!Excited yet? No? Well this should be comforting: we’re not sure that anybody is, because her breasts are some of the least impressive we’ve ever seen.

Speaking of people seeing her chest, that’s really why she’s a “celebrity” to begin with: she was the subject of a huge scandal when pictures of her posing in a bar’s wet tee-shirt contest hit the internet.

Did we happen to mention that she did the contest while she was part of the news team? Yeah, it wasn’t like some old “modeling” photos showed up from before she was famous; she flat out went and flashed her lady parts while on staff at WKBN Ohio.

Once the web caught of glimpse of her, she began her fifteen minutes of fame, and her obvious breast augmentation began its fifteen minutes of infamy. Seriously folks, Bosley has some of the worst bolt-ons we’ve ever seen.

We’ve never bothered to fully violate her privacy and look at her naked photos, but from what we have seen, it looks like she went over the muscle with her implants and got ripped off by her surgeon. Her girls have zero hang to them and look stuffed in.

We can assume that she had a very small chest before going under the knife, and that her implants never had a chance of looking even remotely real. It’s a shame too, because she’s an otherwise nice looking lady.

There’s also rumors that she’s had Botox injections in her face, but we’re not buying those, and we’re giving her credit for being nice looking and aging well on her own.

Catherine Bosley isn’t the biggest celebrity we’ve ever reported on here, but she’s definitely a prime case of unnecessary cosmetic surgery making a good looking person look far worse. We don’t get why she had the work done in the first place, but we can say for sure that she made a mistake and that she probably went to bad surgeon.

She was really better off leaving wll enough alone. Sorry for your results Catherine, we hope that they stop you from going under the knife ever again, because you’re still a pretty lady, and any more bad work could ruin that. Stay strong Cat!

For those of you who love really bad television shows that had no business staying on the air for over a decade, Catherine Hicks plastic surgery must be a goddess. If we’re being honest…not likely. Hicks is a great looking woman i her own right, so we doubt she felt threatened by someone who was a child at the time. We also doubt that she’s had the crazy amount of work that some critics say she’s had (she’s the subject of liposuction, lip injection, and face lift rumors), but she seems to have gone under the knife at least once, so let’s talk plastic surgery… Catherine Hicks is on the left in the above photo ladies and gentlemen, she was not born as a cat.

To our knowledge, there’s no cosmetic surgery procedure that can turn someone from a feline into a lady. Not one that works well at least…but you never know. Anyhow, Hicks hasn’t changed that much as she’s started to approach life as a senior citizen, but one thing that has changed, or rather two things that have changed are her eyes. From the looks of the are around her peepers, it’s pretty safe to say that Catherine underwent a blepharoplasty at some point in the last few years.

This eyelid surgery was most likely to reduce the signs of aging, and while it went well, it still left some tell-tale crinkly skin around her eyelids. Other than that, we can’t really see her having anything else done. Maybe…maybe she’s had some dermal injections of Botox to keep her skin looking smooth, but we’re more inclined to believe that she’s just doing her makeup a little differently now to cover her wrinkles. Catherine Hicks is still a very nice looking lady, and she always has been. So long as she stays away from going under the knife anymore, she should keep looking good well into her seventies.
